Can't wait to check this out. John Carpenter is a legend both as helmsman of a project, and as a musician.

yeah carpenter is a genius at scoring too, he knows how to make music to capture the mood of his films, that sinister, futuristic sci-fi shit he gets down wit

you gotta watch 'Prince of Darkness' the score on that one is incredible and so very effective! one of his best 8)

Yeah the UK release is on the 21st but no Cinemas are listing it yet! I've been in contact the the Prince Charles cinema in London and they say they're gonna announce a showing when the paperwork stuff is sorted. Can't wait for this!! Die hard John Carpenter fan since I first saw The Thing almost 20 years ago!! Damn

nice! will definitely be on at Odeon and I've seen it listed on Cineworld too. found out after the fact that there was a screening on new years day - UK premiere @ ICA. annoying, but definitely gonna peep it asap next week. hopefully won't need to trek to London either 8)

saw it earlier. really enjoyable on a big screen, well worth the entrance fee, which was only £4 (orange wednesday promotion). wasn't a whole lot of light relief, quite tense throughout. worked really well with the enclosed setting, nothing too ambitious. great use of sound. and a pretty smart plot, though some may find it cliche. all in all very satisfied!

i had to rush out and see it cause i don't even think it's gonna be on round here past sunday. was at the last showing earlier with a whooping 7/8 other people in the cinema ;D
