It's frustrating. Instead of trading for one or signing an available one (Boldin, TJ Housh, Vincent Jackson, etc), we rather draft ones or sign diamond in the rough players we think are underrated. Gage & Washington are servicable but are #2 and #3 WR's on most teams. There are #1 and 2, and have been for 2 years now.vince jackson is available in SD on the serious tipbut ill take my man J.C.

ught...there's Drew Brees for ya
The Chiefs are 2-0 and at the top of the division for the first time since Herm destroyed the team. I won't start bragging to much though, because I watched San Fransisco tonight and I think the Chiefs luck is about to end in week 3 when they play the 49ers
Great fucking game. Somebody had to have gotten a finger-tip on that FG though.
Remember what I told you when my prediction first started; 2-0, and then a 2-2 split for the next 4 games. If they can get to 4-2 they'll have in order Jacksonville, Buffalo, Oakland, Denver, Arizona, Seattle, and Denver again. That's a possible 7 straight wins. And a 9-2 record. From there is SD, St Louis, Tennessee, and Oakland to wrap it up. If they split that they're 11-5.I'm not sure how it'll end up but I love their chances. And I really love their chances at home against San Fran. They've got a way better run defense than the Saints had and should shut down Gore. And Romeo can gt very complicated against a spread QB. I expect a real low scoring bruiser of a game that anyone could win. If they start 3-0 they'll finish at least 9-7. Then they get a bye to prepare for Indy, and who knows how to beat Indy better than Romeo and Charlie? 4-0 means at least 10-6, and a playoff berth.
so vick is now the offial eagles starter...

They've been winning in spite of their offense. Cassel's numbers are way down, he had like less than 100 yards passing the first game and less than 200 yards passing the second game. And even Jamal Charles numbers are down from where they were at the end of last season. So the offense is in a rut....That being said. You were spot on about the Chiefs record so far, and of course you couldn't have been more right about Romeo Crennel and his ability to turn the defense around almost single-handedly. It's really all the same players on defense except for a couple of rookie safeties. So you really think the Chiefs can beat the Niners? The Niners looked MEAN on monday night. They are a hungry, angry team coming into Arrowhead. I wouldn't want to be standing in their way, they take after their coach, and they will be out for blood. I will be very surprised if the Chiefs beat the Niners.
Bad precedent to set. You shouldn't lose your job to an injury.
