Due to blogs leaking unfinished songs from my actual album I've decided to pass of Good Fridays this week

 

I read it. These people who leak these songs need to realize that these songs might still get finished up in the future for release and if they don't, they have a real collecters item.

Ye = most overrated arist of 2010

Compared to who? It's been an overall slow year so far in Hip Hop. Usually when someone is overrated it's because they are being given more praise than people who have dropped far superior music. When album of the year debates are "Recovery vs. Thank Me Later" you can't exactly say it's been a spectacular year for the genre.

Not a fan of his Good Friday music? That's been some of the bombest shit to drop in a minute.

Slow year in hip-hop Big Boi, Capone N Noreaga, Terrace Marin, Meth/Rae/Ghost, E-40, The Roots, Kurupt, Nas/Damian, Bizzy Bone, Reflection Eternal all released great albums, imo. Not to mention a shitload of dope mixtapes. 2010 has been one of the best years in hip-hop in recent memory

I'd say a lot of "solid" albums, I don't know about "great, memorable" ones. & yeah, Mac Miller dropped a pretty good mixtape.

But I'd this year has been a better year for Hip Hop because of the lack of God awful mainstream snap dance songs, then actually "great" music being released.

The year isn't over though; we still got Joe Budden, Hopsin, maybe Joell Ortiz & of course there is always a chance of Dr. Dre.

I don't really like his MCing skills anymore.   I like that he  brings together people for Good Friday tracks but beyond that, I find the beats to be good but not mind blowing and i find him to be boring aside from a couple of bars.  I did like the demo, I think it was one, of Devil In A New Dress. 

I think he's overrated because I don't think he's as good as I've seen the interwebs hype it to be.  Monster was dope but Kanye's verse should've been axed except for the last 4 bars.  Both Jay and Nicki blinded him.  Jay's outshined him on every recent track they've featured together.  While I usually like Pusha in the Clipse I find him to be annoying.  When I listen to the recent Ye track, with the exception of Jay's verses, Devil, and Monster, I find myself impatiently waiting for the track to be over.  I don't go back to them.

I also thought Power was about as overhyped as they come.

lol, we got a diff taste in music (not feelin' Budden or Ortiz that much, Dre's another story!). It's all good, though. Big Boi's album will go down as a classic in this time period. That album is unreal.

Respect. I agree, but honestly, I haven't heard much Kanye talk. Or at least I don't personally view Kanye as "amazing" this year.
