i love little brother, but phonte singing is just not for me

i feel you. i mean i think he has a decent singing voice, but i find it a bit boring after too long...like a whole album is hard work for me to get through, well this and the Leave It All Behind anyway. Although that may have more to do with Nicolays production than it does with Phontes singing. Connected was an excellent album imo, and the singing was mostly handled by Darien Brockington and Yahzarah, but it still had that major hip hop feel to it.

i just cant understand why someone who is quite obviously great at writing rhymes and respected at doing so, would prefer to drop this style of an album over a solo hip hop album? maybe he feels its the direction or the path he was supposed to take after the experiences he had and how things turned out with Little Brother, but its a shame for those of us who do think hes an incredible mc
