Pacino or De Niro?

I loved Pacino in "scent of a women". His speech, his acting, his repressed anger. This was acting.

For De Niro though - Killer Elite sucked. The Analyze and Meet the Parents movies/sequels revived his career IMO from the bog standard "thrillers" he was always in, in the 90's. Hide and Seek afterwards was also good acting. I think the issue lies in not being apart of large blockbusters that are actually good so we see his career as stale  But his career is fine.

Pacino has been in some garbage lately too (Jack & Jill) so it's really hard to judge based on current success or roles, and 2 are different actors IMO. 2 different styles so I don't know why they are always compared
