The only war the US lost is the Vietnam War.

Technically the US/Commonwealth never lost, but we never won. We had air/naval supremacy over Korea but over land the war was going nowhere which forced the US/Commonwealth around the negotiation table. It was a stalemate.

North Korea invaded South Korea, the Americans entered saying that their objective was to fight the North out of the South, they did that successfully.

Then they decided they were going to invade the North, and 'liberate', but got their asses kicked and quickly withdrew.
