@Matty yep that what im doing , people nowadays just dont care they want everything for free they dont want to buy anything, i dont mind sharing albums but when u on forum like this gave some1 link its spreads l;ike sickness  :D

and yep @imsohappy... well my english it is what it is nor do i care about spelling or grammar  :P :P

the japan exclusive-albms are supposed to spread like sickness outside of Japan.
like the Bishop Lamont-mixtape..
artist are not losing any money, cus the Japanase people (the market for these specific releases) are still buying the shit even if it leaks..
the megaupload/rapidshare-culture doesnt exist over there..

the only thing these leaks are doing, is to generate more blog-posts, media-coverage and awareness for their product in the rest of the world.

or the artists can simply just.. put the shit up on iTunes outside of Japan, and make more profit from there.

but for some reason Damani, didnt do it..
what im tryin to say is - nobody outside of Japan, is willing to pay over-exaggerated shippingcosts for a Foesum, Daddy V , DJ 2high or Damani-album, wit a pricetag ending at 60 or 70$.. just not possible

obscure stuff that i own in the hopes that more people will be able to enjoy it and share back some other obscure, hard to find shit that i might appreciate. sounds reasonable?
very reasonable

loool  assuming im from japan well need to disappoint you dude im not but still will buy this cd
and how old are u that u care about stripes ? i dont give a fuck i want support artist thats it  ;)

Dude's got a point. I'm kinda like that too. I still like to get myself that good old disc & cover to add to my collection I been completing for years. But I hate even the idea to pay for a d/l link, it can't compare to the object & the package. So now that they add 2 or 3 "i-tunes only" exclusive bonus tracks with this crap concept & fucken NONE on physical cd's, that is IF & WHEN they bother to manufacture any, it pisses me off! It's the few ones left who do buy cd's today who deserve to have the treat of added material!

Back to Damani, I imagine if he doesn't release it as a free d/l there has to be a reason? He'll sure do it when he'll see it fit? I'm sure the people on the staff here DO have the entire thing for their personal pleasure & for months now, so if they don't put it out either it must be because they have to wait for Damani to give them the green light? Just like Bishop & all of Dre's people have their "advance" of Detox (& possibly several of them advances through the years) but none will cross Dre leaking these gems or press bootlegs & these things are worth millions of major $ just sitting somewhere!
Same with the "Beach Cruisers", the "RED albums", the "SC State of Minds" & all these albums that have been recorded time & again & over again & still there is shit to show for it!
So who are we to say "fuck this Damani dude" let's just leak his shit & screw him!
Don't think it would be fair... but that's just me.

the overseas releases are very cumbersome cause you have to pay loads of shipping costs, currency conversion and potential tax before you can get your hands on shit sometimes. that's where the internet should step in to make a more democratic, open market. either through online stores or sharing.

what i find hillarious is when you have all this internet content being copyright protected or only available in certain regions. it defeats the very purpose of it in the first place. companies will learn one way or another. there is nothing governments can do to stop the natural progression to more democratic systems of sharing information and products. this is a really hot topic right now with wikileaks, but the consequences and implications are far reaching.
