Your post seems a little delusional. Death Row had taken the spotlight from Ruthless well before Eazy passed. He was already past the peak of his popularity. His first posthumous album Str8 Off tha Streetz didn't even go platinum when it should have sold even more on account of his death.

The truth is that he wouldn't have been able to affect the hip hop industry any more than the other 90s legends have. Dre and Cube haven't been able to change shit about the industry. Can you honestly picture Eazy E rapping in today's game? He would've either had to completely change his image or fall the fuck off like every other gangster rapper did.

Realistically I think he would've stopped rapping and focused on running his label and putting artists out. But I don't think he would've been able to keep a gangster rap label and stay relevant. He would've had to switch up his roster to compete with changing trends.

That is your opinion and i respect it.
it's all good man.
I know plenty of people who would agree with you and plenty who agree with me.
in the words of Eazy.

'it's on' shoulda been a full album. too bad temporary insanity didn't drop. what was the status on that project ?
It basically merged with "Str8 off tha Streetz".
"It's On" was a sneak peak to "Str8 off tha Streetz" 1 'n 2
dre also recorded material with eazy for temporary insanity.
was eazy street included for it ? it was on a soundtrack though. and eazy wrote it. LOL.
i don't think any song titles were mentioned, but i thought one of the interviews mentioned that eazy worked with dre for the project

he would have been just as relevant as dre, cube, or snoop. and yes i could picture him rappin today. wit all the bullshit out today he probably would have kept his integrity and kept it gangsta.

Well, to be fair, he did have non-gangsta acts like Blood of Abraham and Atban Klan signed to the label, even before he died.  Unfortunately, they weren't big successes at the time.  But I think that was mainly because at the time, gangsta rap was the more popular form of hip hop.  At least with the mainstream.  And Atban Klan has since become a success as Black Eyed Peas.  So you never know. Eazy might have signed more non-gangsta acts, had he lived long enough to see the shift that the genre has taken over the years.

Yes, a song did get completed, but Ruthless have the rough copy, Geffen have the master copy and don't want to release it.  :'(
Also, on "Luv 4 dem Gangsta'z" Slash (from Guns N Roses) performs the guitar solo.
