Cash Money recording artist, Glasses Malone is getting into the movie business, as he is set to both star and produce a short film titled The Division.

The flick is based in Los Angeles and focuses on the LAPD’s Narcotics division. Malone will be playing a drug kingpin under close surveillance by the unit as he tries to orchestrate the most elaborate drug deals the city has ever seen.

Glasses is working in part with Jamie Garnett and Carlos Mason of Albert Mason Media, LLC, who will help produce and direct the film, in addition to Darryl Lucky Rodgers.

The film begins its principle photography on January 15 in LA —Amber McKynzie
