2Pac and TQ
« on: January 10, 2011, 01:05:22 PM »
Over the years I've seen it posted here and there that 2Pac and TQ recorded a few tracks together.  Whether this is legit or not I don't know, but I'm fairly sure I've seen track names posted.

Anyone know whether this is true or not?  I'm drawn to thinking it's fake since TQ didn't release his debut and get big until 98.

The closest TQ got to recording with Pac was sampling the same track that 2Pac used for his biggest hit.

Mike Mosely may have put TQ on some tracks after Pac died that he had in his vault but other than that I don't think they met to my knowledge.

They never met, but way back TQ jumped on three 2Pac tracks after Afeni Shakur asked him to.

Tears of A Clown - Mike Mosley
In The Event of My Demise - Soul Shock and Carla
Dope Fiends Diner - Shock G

I have always wondered this, I growing up 2pac and TQ were two of my favorite artist and many moons ago... must have been just before better dayz came out I emailed TQ from the email address on his website, I can remember i basically told him I was a fan and said that I thought that he needs to get in contact with afeni because he would be perfect on a track with 2pac.

And to my surpise and excitment he actually replied to me I posted it all on the deathrow forums at the time but he said that he had been wanting to work with 2pac his whole career but never got to work with him before he past, (something along those lines anyway) but said that he has been speaking to afeni and to keep an eye out for him and upcoming projects...

Thanks for clearing this up for me.  A collab between the two woulda been cool though, if Pac had lived long enough.  Been listening to 'They Never Saw Me Coming' a lot recently.  A West classic in my opinion  8)
