anybody like planet asia?
« on: December 28, 2002, 08:27:12 PM »
i d/led a couple of his tracks (speak the truth & pure coke) and they were dope as hell, are his albums worth buying?

Most hip-hop is now keyboard driven, because the majority of hip-hop workstations have loops and patches that enable somebody with marginal skills to put tracks together,...

Unfortunately, most hip-hop artists gravitated towards the path of least resistance by relying on these pre-set patches. As a result, electric guitar and real musicians became devalued, and a lot of hip-hop now sounds the same.

Yeah, He's tight. Dont have any of his albums but I got his Group Album... Cali Agents with Rasco... that's worth buying.

And one of his albums is kinda cheap cuz I think it's an EP... it only gots like 7 songs and I alwayz see it for like 8 bucks... He's cool though... one of L.A Underground's Nicest...

Planet Asia solo work is dope but in my opinion he shined best on the Cali Agents album How The West Was One.

does anyone know the Planet Asia EP has the song "on the corner" twice?
