What happened to the remix?

I was always curious as to why over the last 7 or so years remixes don't have new beats.  Turns out it's because of Nielsen Broadcast Data Systems (BDS) and their radio tracking software.

Its sad..and cats think they doing remixes by just adding on new artist to it...different beat,same concept is a remi .rookies..hiphop artist today are fucking lazy.

Here in the UK pop tracks from artists like Madonna get more spins on Dance stations that wouldn't play the track by having a Dance/Trance remix.

I guess the rap market is only about the $$$ these days. ::)
