Kobe Bryant put the fuckin beatdown on that ass.

I had to roll my eyes though when the commentators said this game is proof as to why Lakers shoudn't get Carmelo, saying "size" is the reason why they won this game. Bynum had an efficient night, but he didn't do jack shit when it actually mattered. Hell, when Kobe sat out in the final quarter, Bynum singlehandedly let Celtics back in the game with countless errors, only for Kobe to come back in and fix everything for us.

The Celtics have a huge pb they did not have the past three years, they dont have a defensive specialist ala Posey or T.Allen to defend Kobe... he got what he wanted in these two games

they are right ... you cant obviously go to Bynum in the 4th but he was a important factor in the game ... hes wearing down the opponent center then you can go with that Odom Gasol combo to finish the game ...

if Bynum could stay healthy and perform at a above average level , nobody is beating the Lakers

I kind of agree with them though. Carmelo would be a good pickup, especially as Kobe's career winds down. But Im not sure he will make them stronger NOW. The Lakers will need the size come playoff time more than they will need another shoot first guy, who only occassionally plays D. Im not a fan of Bynum by any means, but the Laker bigs will probably be as important as anything for you guys in the playoffs. Look at some of the PG's you might potentially face....Parker, Williams, Westbrook, Rondo. All PG's who can kill you in the lane. Take away one of the Laker bigs, and these guys will shred the Laker D.
