who is most likely to leave his situation

I just hope he doesn't go to LA. But isn't part of the reason that there's this salary stuff in the NBA to prevent those superstar-teams? In soccer or baseball you can just sign the best players in the game if you have the money and the market. Nobody can do anything against it really. In the NBA you have to play along with the salary stuff. Which is a great thing in my opinion. So, how in the fuck could, for example, the Heat sign another max contract superstar? They obviously will never have cap room, and they have no assets to trade. Even if they'd give up their best role players in Miller and Haslem, that would still only account for like 9 million.

Its a soft cap in the NBA. You can exceed the salary cap and if you go over the luxury cap you will just have to pay a tax to the league for every dollar over the luxury cap you go. Thats why teams like the Lakers just always far exceed the salary cap AND the luxury cap. They feel its worth paying the extra tax to buy a championship. Likewise, teams like the Clippers benefit by NOT spending money and collecting all that revenue share from teams like the Lakers.
The league could implement a hard cap and eliminate some of this forming of Superstar Teams, to an extent. Players will always be able to take less money to play for a championship together...if they want. Another thing they can do in the new CBA is create a franchise tag like in the NFL. Allowing small market teams (or any team) to Franchise a player for the following year. They would have to tweak it a bit maybe, because that might only gain you one extra year with that player on your team. But it could give a little bit of control to the teams
