For the lazy ones his top 5 - in no order is: James Brown, Marley Marl, Mantronix, Rick Rubin and Dr.Dre.

He also gives props to Kanye West, Pete Rock, Large Professor and Boi1da in the interview.

Good call on James Brown. He produced most of his early stuff plus other artists back in the day!
