Anytime I hear this it makes me think about the story of Freddie Foxxx putting a gun in Benzino's mouth.

Both were signed to Queen Latifah's Flavor Unit at the time. While on a tour bus Benzino went on a rant about how hard he was, how many people he bodied, blah, blah, blah, etc. Freddie may have been tired, grumpy, who knows...but he warned Benzino to quit. This only served to escalate Ray's verbal escapade to everyone on the bus about being a "tough guy". Freddie approaches Ray in front of a stunned audience, shoves the heater into his mouth and pleads with Benzino that his reckless talk will end up getting him murked. Shortly after... both parties leave the tour and never work together again.
