if ras kass was east coast?
LyRiCaL_G:
would this effect his label deals albums out etc?
S.G.V.:
i feel if ras was east coast hed probably sell more...im sure of it...people expect rappers like ras to come from the east...its etched in peoples brain that the east coast is the home of the best lyical rappers...but when they come from the west theyre written off as lame back packers...plus hed have a label that cators better to his style...like Rawkus...etc...
dpgc2002:
If Ras Kass was eastcoast he would get much more exposure that's for sure...NY would be totally on his dick saying he's the greatest lyricist ever, which isn't to far from the truth anyway...I think Ras is up there along with Nas...

True, but I doubt that he would sell much more records.
Maybe he would move a few more, but look at Eastcoast's finest lyricists.. they're not moving much units neither..
Ras on the East would just be a Pharoahe Monch, a Chino XL, a GZA, a Common, etc.
He would still be a great lyricist, but he hasn't got the charisma or the type of personality that ppl can relate to, and make him a superstar.
Look at the big stars: Nas, Eminem, Jay-Z, 2Pac, Biggie, Snoop Dogg etc. - They all have a certain charisma & "star side" to them.
E-Style:
If ras was eastcost NYC would be all on his dick. I mean look how they treat 50. They treat him like he jesus or sumthin
