Crooked I album
« on: January 07, 2003, 08:43:09 AM »
 :o

I think this comes out in summer 2003 after the spring 2003 release of N.I.N.A : fantasy LP

Both The untouchable single for her album and crooked I a lbum have been made so why the delay. And does anybody know what the first single will be from Crooked's album??? I heard it was called "Tha House Party" and that so damm hood is only gonna be a B-side but I'm unsure on this. 2 videos have already been made for this album and has already had guest features from Scarface and Ja rule (3 are even said to create an album after murder inc finish with a charli baltimore project and after tha row release this album)

Anybody know the makaveli verse that will be used on the album????
Iv been away for a while so I need to catch up

About the Makaveli verse, you are talking about unconfirmed rumors. At the moment, there are no proofs they'll use a Pac verse. About N.I.N.A., i think her mother told Suge not to release her album. If i remember well, DR remixed a lot of tracks from her last album, but Lisa's brother didnt like them. Apparently the only good mix was Untouchable (another mix of this track), but at the end Lisa's mother asked Suge not to publish albums of N.I.N.A.

About Crooked I.. it's a damn shame! The best rapper of the WC right now cant release an album. It's kinda frustrating.

I don`t know.
I can only hope they release Crooked I soon but with Suge and his arrest and the music business you never know.
After the nina project was destroyed i thought the next cd would be a soundtrack but its all rumours right now.
I hope they update the site at the end of the week.
I like Tha Row GEAR but  some music would be nice too ;)

Well I can only guess that this is the new single, seeing as the two videos made are for “so damm hood” and “tha house party”. The videos are made, the tracks are made. I think Koch ent are distributing the album, the album should come out whenever Suge wants it to considering the fact he got the money to put it out the way he will want to.

Just hope this is released early 2003, cause if not it will probably be scrapped for new material. Most of the tracks from his first project “untouchable” are locked away in the vaults and might never see the light of day. Tracks like “untouchable (remix)” and “g’d up and banged out”

I didnt think that track was leaked yet????? How'd you manage to get it???

This was never gonna be on untouchable because Suge was wanting to produce Crooked into a drug free role model battle rapper, to create an image that youths in the ghetto can look up to. The track has the 3 in the studio sookin on a bong before each hook

I am postitivly 100% sure that So Damm Hood is finished. This was actually finished back in October Last Year. Sisqo even admitted this. Cant remember where, but he was saying how much of a great time he had going back to california to shoot the video for deathrow after he had done the single.

There was meant to be a new single for the "say hi to the bad guy" project. "Tha House Paty" was the only single that was receiving noticable recognition from underground fans who thought it was a bit too commercial like - which is what tha row rally need at the moment. They said the single would hit the air waves by christmas and that the video would shoot in January after christmas.

It's common knowledge that "So Damn Hood" video was filmed last spring.  Check Tha Row's interview wit Crooked I and he even says that.  And I don't think underground fans have even heard of "House Party" yet because it hasn't even been leaked.  BTW, just to see if you are bullshittin, who is the featured artist on "House Party"?

This album ain't gonna come out.  It is gonna be another lost tape at death row, just like so many other albums over there.  Its too bad, what a waste of talent.

Having not heard “Tha House Party” I cannot judge whether it is a good track worthy of chart recognition. & I cannot tell you who is featured on it as I have never heard it before, but if anyone knows I wouldn’t mind the information. I’m pretty sure this has been leaked as I have seen clips of it on those hard-to-find sites, not your everyday hitemup.com and urbansoundz.net. Only a few people have this track. Think Johnny Tanna has this track also.

Don’t know if this IS the track, I’m only assuming but it is true that 2 videos have been made for Crooked I’s debut. I will also go ahead to assume that if it is “Tha House Party” then I can visualise a certain resemblance to 2Pac’s 93 hit “I get around”

I think it’s time to scrap the Crooked I material if Suge wont release it by the end of spring this year. It’s gone on too long and for the person who said the video was made earlier last year – I remember someone else saying this, but October definitely has a important date on the matter, whether it was meant to air on TV in October god knows? But I remember that October date, guess it HAS been that long a wait to hear Crooked’s second attempt. He fucked up the first one but for Suge to go ahead and try and claim how Crooked’s the best in tha west honest, and doesn’t do drugs, but then he goes into the studio and creates a track with enemies getting gunned down on one of his tracks and crooked smoking a bong before a chorus on one of his tracks you begin to realise just why Suge scrapped the first attempt. There’s reasons for the delay, you can bet your every dollar and that the reason is personal issues. They were able to put out a 2Pac album and tha row HAD money before that to be able to pay distributors. No problem there. A shit load of tracks have been made including a bunch of cleaner and softer ones (as well as the raw ones), videos have been made, hes been introduced on many albums before (ie – Escape From deathrow, Kurupt – streetz is a mutha, too gangsta4radio, dogg pound 2002, murder inc : remixes) I think there must be personal issues regarding tracks and what Crooked will want – remember this is Crooked’s debut and Suge will be guiding him into what HE thinks is best and what should be categorised into the release.
