Dr. Dre in Surround Sound

Justt wondering if anybody has heard any of Dre's old material in surround sound (5.1 or 7.1) yet?

He was talking about it a while ago. Just wondered if it's happened yet?

The closest you'll get is the Up In Smoke DVD on a surround sound system, although I think the rear left and right channels are just crowd noise.

if you wanna hear some hip-hop style music in surround sound check out the missy elliott or NERD dvd audio releases. as for dr. dre, we'll be lucky to get detox in stereo any time this decade. i doubt his earlier releases would be reworked for quite some time.

In interviews after the release of the 2001 album, Dre said Detox would be in surround sound.
I think it was after the THX court cases..
