Hey, 2% of a hundred million is a lot more than 2% of a hundred thousand.

2% is actually not accurate at all. Realistically performing artists (on major labels) receive about €0,05 max per sold album. Maybe it's a little bit more with digital sales. It would never make an artist rich. Once B.o.B gets out of his contract he could go indie and live off his success as a money-maker-for-rich-men and sales from his next album(s).

I don't know. Youtube tries to do that with every song that leaks until like thousands of people are posting it up & they can barely control it.
