I downloaded this from here, back when I joined the forum in 2005, or in early 2006.I vaguely even remember Rud making a thread about it in the HU spot, but I could be mistaken.

So, are Dre or Chace somehow related to this instrumental (I'm asking because of the way it's labeled).Has it been used anywhere?

Any additional info would be appreciated

there was a thread a while back and it didn't seem to go anywhere aside from a debate whether it was a legit or homemade beat. i was saying it was legit but a lot of peeps thought it was on some fruityloops shit. no way i say

Yeah, I think it's legit too, it sounds too complex at the end for some homemade shit.the thing is, I played it for a friend who works at an advertising agency and he thought it was perfect for a project they're doing, and I'm trying to figure out if there would be any copyright infringement if we use it.And I'm almost positive Rud made that thread back in the day, hoping he could shed some light on it.

Maybe legit maybe not but to complex for an homemade shit ? Cmon son the beat is simple (like a typical Dre's beat)... 2 pads / piano / pizz / bass / bell / drums and another pad and a cello on the hook... every producers can do the same.

yeah, maybe complex wasn't the right word here...whatever.Everything amateur sounding could be legit nowadays, just look at INAD.I really couldn't believe it was released the exact same way we heard it a while back

whatever it is, it's just a simple demo. if that was meant for any professional album release, this was only a beat a pre-production stage. definitely nothing Dre touched and sent off as "finished"
