I Think It's Time To End The Jose Bautista "Fluke" Talk

(1/3) > >>

Twentytwofifty:
He's leading the league in home runs again, on pace for 59 HRs this year while posting a ridiculous .359/.506/.750 line.  Also, good enough to lead the majors in WAR.
And he's really getting nothing to hit, I've seen a lot of his ABs, they are scared of him, he has a great eye and he's just punishing just about every mistake.
Somehow he's looking better than last year early on in the season.

PLANT:
best all-around player in baseball?

I think so.

Chamillitary Click:
Test him. :D

Twentytwofifty:

--- Quote ---"He's very reminiscent of Barry Bonds in 2002," said Maddon of Bautista. "In the World Series [against the Angels when Maddon was the Angels bench coach] where every time he swings the bat it looks like it's going over the wall.

"Tremendous plate discipline, very aggressive swing, it's an understatement to say he's locked in right now. He's just on a different planet."
--- End quote ---

Lunatic:
Unbelievable player
