My friend, it still happens today, unfortunately they are much better liars these days.

U wonder if it makes a difference to lie like this...my take is that it absolutely makes a difference or they would not invest all the time and effort into it. Tv as a whole is a farce.

So why do this? Because it is supposed to instill fear and reinforce the programming that tells you it's ok that our government kills millions of innocent people around the world. It's called the Military Industrial Complex. It's big business. While the term isn't really used anymore, tv shows were referred to as programs, and jobs within the entertainment industry are frequently referred to as program directors etc...why would they refer to shows as programs? When u program something u manipulate it until it does exactly what you want.

It's just that people want to believe in these things. People want to believe the US is fighting for a good cause. That's young people our age are dying for our freedom. Unfortunately, neither is the case.

Over a million civilians are died from the recent wars in the Middle East so far. Those are genocide numbers, but its in the name of freedom and liberty so that's a valid enough justification in the public's eyes. We know people are making a fuck load of money though with their military contracts.
