Questions about promo only cd's?

Hey i bought the "Rough is the texture and awol remix single" off of amazon or ebay, i forget, and it was listed exactly like that. on the single, the only remix is the AWOL remix and the rough is the texture is the same song as on the rbxfiles album. i know there is a remix called the whole9 remix or something like that??? does it exist on cd? i need that shit.

ok i found out that it was a promo only. does anyone have it? and also does anyone have those promo single cd's that had the remixes of songs on the doc's no one can do it better? i think there were 3 of em. if so i got some padding for your paypal. does anyone know how rare the single cd of Above the law Untouchable with the what ya can prove dr dre remix on it is??? and whats with all these "promo only" cd singles they put out? were they just for radio stations?

Do you guys have any rare promo singles or singles with rare remixes on them? i am upgrading my cd collection and i have almost every album i want so i decided to go a route that i had never gone and buy the promo cd's i could find, but i find myself buying stupid shit that was already on the main albums when i think i'm buying a single with a remix not available anywhere else. examples of this are the rbx, and the eazy-e just ta let you know.

A lot of those 'white label' 12" do have a promo CD counterpart but they're generally harder to find than the vinyl.

For example the 'Game Don't Wait Remix' promo CD only comes up on ebay about once a year but the vinyl is easy to find.


Some promo CD's are so rare it's hard to find they actually exist, then one pops up on ebay and you're like Damn!

see i didnt even kno that there was a game dont wait remix promo cd there is so little info out there, even on discogs.com. anyone got anything dope? i got a east coast /west coast killas "club" mix remixed by budda with an extra "bonus beat" at the end. the remix is so sick and i had never heard it before i got the cd.
