It should be an interesting fight.  While I'll be rooting for Ortiz (I'm originally from Oxnard too, haha... gotta root for my people), I still think Mayweather will come out with the win.  But you never know -- Ortiz is younger and MUCH hungrier, especially after coming off of the biggest win in his career so far.

It's ironic for Mayweather to have talked about wanting to take the WBC belt from Ortiz, when in his last fight against Mosley, he was talking about belts being only good for collecting dust with the belt not even being on the line.

That aside, it's great that Mayweather is back to fight, and while he's still heavily favored to win, he's at least picked someone who poses an actual challenge... though of course it would've been better for him to just take on Manny for the $50 million guarantee (and more after PPV bonuses) or even Sergio Martinez, who I'd say is a more interesting challenge than Ortiz.
