The 90's fake gangsta image is played out, and everyone knows fine well that real gangsters don't need to rap, DJ, and make music in an attempt to make a living from it. They are the ones generally behind artists if they are in any way involved with the music industry, or the ones in silent partnerships with the executives, not the ones struggling to kick doors down. It didn't work for Vanilla Ice, or MC Hammer... People like Will Smith, LL cool J, Kris Kros, The Cookie Crew etc. They all knew their limitations, and the gansgter image comes off looking corny and cringing to a lot of people who know the real deal. Even the mainstream public aren't that naive

The song is good, and it deserves to get its props, but it's because of all the fronting outside of your comfort zone, which people can clearly see, is the reason you aren't getting the props you feel you deserve, and that you shoudl be getting based on the music side of things and effort put into getting all the features, which is an achievement in it's own right
