Despite telling Dubcnn in 2008 that he had retired from music until he won an Oscar [see; Tyrese Retires From Music.... Until He Wins An Oscar singer/rapper/actor Tyrese aka Black Ty made a welcome return to music in 2009 on Dubcnn with the release o the Clinton Sparks & DJ Snake produced Mayhem Take Me Away Remix before the release of his record breaking venture into Comic Books with "MAYHEM."

Since then Tyrese has continued to work on acting including starring in the latest installments of the blockbuster movie franchises for "Transformers" and "Fast & Furious."

As promised in our 2009 update "Even though Tyrese has no plans to release another album anytime we will ensure as soon as he does Dubcnn will bring you all the latest news and media" - well today we make good on that promise!

Tyrese is back with a brand new single and a new album in the works for a November release. On 11.1.11 he will release "Open Invitation" via Voltron Records and today we have two new tracks as well as a behind the scenes video for you to check out! First up is the main single "I Gotta Chick" for which Tyrese has been shooting a video with R. Kelly, Tyga and Rick Ross this week - the single and the Behind The Scenes teaser video can be heard and watched below - the end of the video also gives you a taster of another record from "Open Invitation" featuring Ludacris called "Too Easy."
