Game & Notorious B.I.G.
« on: August 27, 2011, 09:17:37 AM »
Anyone listen to the new "Ace of Spades" cut by the Game and think you were hearing Notorious?  Is it just me or does the track sound like a crossover of 'Fuckin You Tonite' and 'Big Poppa'? I can picture B.I.G. rappin those verses.  Also, "Heartbreak Hotel" Game blatantly sounds like Biggy.

What's up with Game trying to transform into Biggy on some of these tracks?

If you listen to The Game's pre-Documentary music (his mixtapes with JT for example), you'll hear a lot of similarities in his voice with Biggie.

"Ace of Spades" was actually dope but its hard to listen to cuz of the Biggie imitation. People gave him props for doing it on "1970 Somethin" but shit. I hate the Biggie, Dre, and Rick Ross imitations.

The Nas imitation is sick as fuck tho. Probably cuz he's not forcing it, when his flow is laid back he naturally sounds like him. "Let Us Live", "Born in the Trap", "Infrared", and "Mama Knows" all sound similar to Nasir

Yeah, "Infared" is a dope track no doubt!

"Hustlers" is one of my fav tracks of all time; they both flow raw

"Why You Hate The Game" is another good one too

The old Get Low Game recordings sound more like Shyne than Biggie. I know many people say Shyne is a lot like Big, flow-wise, but Game had more of that rough Shyne sound to his vocals.

All I get from this is game is a dung beetle and his best shit comes from imitating others. So in the words of mc juice "he ain't a mc he's a got damn impressionist". 1970 best shit I ever heard from the equal tho yell
