Pioneering Cali indie emcee Murs proudly presents Love & Rockets Volume 1: The Transformation, his new album dropping October 11 on Damon Dash‘s new BluRoc label. The art was designed by Dave Burnett, the talent behind covers for Curren$y‘s Pilot Talk series. The album is produced entirely by fellow labelmate Ski Beatz.

thoroughly enjoyable album, easily one of the best i've heard this year. and there's been some good ones 8)

the Ski Beatz production on here is fantastic too, works perfectly with Murs style. and definitely to my liking 8)

The album is dope as hell after bumping it all day, up there for one of the best of the year IMO...'Eazy E' is a great west coast dedication track that I think most up in here would appreciate at the very least

there have been a lot of interesting underground releases these past 2-3 weeks ... tough to keep it up , I still have to check this and the People under the stairs album...
