Kurupt can "gobble a big fat d!ck"

I can still remember that degraded talent taking shots at us "fans" (who lets be honest wern't many left by then) for simply taking an interest on what "his" LP cuts were like, and more importantly an interest in...Him. His music, and we still haven't had an apology or anything for his childish outburst, which coinsidently shot himself in the foot by attacking what fans he actually had..

So for that reason, I'll be downloading this and put my money towards those that resepct the fans

When did that happend? whats the story?

When around the time a bootleg of Against the Grain (Death Row) cuts were being sold on he internet. He dissed those who were buying or who had the intention to buy, and of course idiotically forgetting the fact that people even wanting to buy it were obviously fans of his, and people wanting to hear it. It wasn't like you were going to get Jay Z fans buying a Kurupt bootleg. He should have been grateful, as all artists with anyone wanting to hear ANYTHING in their catalogue released or unreleased, because it drives the potential for those people to want to hear more. But to due respect to his current affairs at the time, he could have brushed it off briefly as would have probably been expected (due to the songs being diss records) but he went all out, and was pretty vocal on the matter basically dissing the fans, and naming dubcnn members as a collective whole.

To me, the guys got worse over the years in terms of talent, and should really be soaking up any fans he can get. Any publicity is good publicity as they say. But he hasn't apologized, or said anything about it since. I guess he never apologized to Suge or Daz the amount of times he went running back and forward to them like a girl

Its allways annoying when artists do that. Not to defend kurupt but i can understand him in some way. the fans in "made" it happen so the tracks got released. If theres not any fans then people wont be buying and therefore (in this case) the tracks has no meaning if it got released. - cuz nobody will listen anyway. Since he wanted to make up with snoop, daz etc he diddent want the old him getting in the way. When the fans "demanded" to get the tracks, somebody took the chance and released it to make money. I think thats why he got angry when the fans demanded stuff that could worsen his personal relationships. I think i he learned a lesson that if you record something its gonna be there forever for everybody to see and then you are accountable for it for the rest of your life (its weird daz hasn't picked up that lesson :D). a lesson for all people!

Personally i dont care if he had a small panic-emotional outburst about his relationships 6 yeares ago. It feels like all artists thats been around for 15+ yeares always has a non-logic outburst in a magazine, concert or whatever. I think kurupt did allright during his fame compering to other people

When Kurupt was filmin' the video for "In Gotti We Trust" he made a video addressin' all the things people talk about here and the video was up on DUBCNN for a while, but his label made DUBCNN take it down or somethin' like that. I can't remember right now, but i'm sure Nima or Rud knows why the video was taken down. I know somebody probably has it, but i haven't seen it since.

I can't support a guy like that. Music aside, the guy is a little douche bag in real life.

I can't get how he can possibly say that fans who liked, or even wanted to hear his aggressive tracks are fake fans, and that he doesn't need fans like that? That's crazy. It's perhaps down to the fact that the fans knew fine well that the aggressive tracks would have inspired some kind of spark or energy for Kurupt to enable him to go back to his MC roots, and put down some "raw" raps. Something which had been absent from Kurupts arsenal for some time. His common "Bitch, Bitch, Bitch, eat a fat d!ck Bitch" lines, and rhyming Bitch, with Bitch, and other 1 syllable rhyming words (rich, switch, itch) were tiresome. This breath of fresh air gave some hope to those "current" Kurupt fans. The ones that were still left, and holding a torch high for the dude who simply got worse over the years, and to be honest down right lazy, and sloppy on records... He was attacking "those" fans. His own fans who had been fans from the start. No one was checking for Kurupt besides DPG fans/Death Row fans

He also goes on to say that the industry turned their backs on him after his Calling Out Names diss track in 99??? Bullshit. After that, he has his biggest commercial album, and hit with It's over - was on all the time, was on a Dr Dre music video for his Chronic 2001 album, and on a huge Shade Sheist summer hit (where I wanna Be) that was aired on every music TV channel at the time. It was huge. He was featured on the Big Mommas house soundtrack, as well as HBO getting at him. Big on the Westcoast, and lets not forget the East. On Violator, and DJ Clue etc. Also on the massive Up in Smoke tour, as well as movies after it as well so no industry turned their back on him. If anything the industry opened the door wide open for him.

He's so full of shit. He just didn't want his unfaithful, disloyal, ho-like nature being seen by the public, but I think we already knew that when he went from Suge to Daz, then left Daz to go to Suge, then left Suge again to go to Daz. The guy needs to quit drugs

this album sucks ass minus the title track which ive had for a yr.....dont know why i even bother dling his shit anymore

Someone who see's sense. Besides the Quik produced track (which reminds me of an old school era Quik) and 1 other song on there, the rest sounds trash. The 2 songs I like are purely based on production alone. Just listen to his rapping on Massacre Central, and the other songs. It's terrible.

If I were a young kid listening to this album, and some old timer told me that Kurupt was one of the hottest MC's of all time, from the 90's and one of the greats, I would laugh my ass off. I think it's time for this skinny sherm smoking douche bag to quit rap, and promote younger talent
