Nintendo pledges return to the top
« on: January 24, 2003, 12:46:17 AM »
There's an article on cnn about how Nintendo announced today, that they're going to get the jump on competition, and are already developing a home based console system to be the successor to the gamecube, and that it will probably be released in late 2005, or early 2006.

They also said that the only way they would ever stop making home consoles (like sega did) was if they completely were out of the home video game business; so I guess they're in it for the long haul.

OH yeah, LOL and about that, I forgot to tell yall, they're releasing a new controller, just like the super nintendo controller, so that should work better for fighting games.

You're joking right? Nintendo was the authority on gaming from the early 80's till the mid 90's. If you talkin bout the cube or the 64 then yeah, they didn't compete, but sega wasn't even close to nes or super nes in sales.

My feelings exactly! I'm not growing out of games either, they were just much better back then imo.
