^ Nah, that's the problem there's not gonna be any expansion. I don't wanna have to take a team either, but that's the precedent that the NBA set when they took the Sonics after 41 seasons in Seattle. Everyone knows it should be the Hornets but they don't wanna do that for PR so it looks like the Kings are the most likely. They're talking about it on the NBA site now 8)

So we'll know at the beginning of March if Sac Town can keep them. If we make this happen, I will run out of my apartment and belligerently celebrate all over the streets of Portland.

That's the precedent that the NBA set when Stern deep throated Bennett and let him run off with the Sonics Houdini style, not my fault. And I've been going crazy since 2008. Don't get me wrong, I don't feel great about the idea of taking someone else's team, but the NBA ain't about to expand.
