Rasheed Wallace will come out of retirement to sign with the Los Angeles Lakers, according to reports.

The forward who last played for the Celtics in 2009-10, when Boston advanced to the NBA Finals, reportedly played fairly well at a Pro-Am tournament in North Carolina over the summer.

He is expected to fortify the Lakers bench and could play a larger role if Los Angeles decides to trade fellow forward Pau Gasol, as has been rumored.

I don't want to be a hater, but honestly.. this is a desperation move. Rasheed is nothing but a locker room disturbance at this point.
Cause I don't care where I belong no more
What we share or not I will ignore
And I won't waste my time fitting in
Cause I don't think contrast is a sin
No, it's not a sin

gasol+draft pick+trade exception for dwight doesn't sound out of the question, at this point..

but i agree...deron is the more likely option.

this was never going to happen.

as much as i love sheed, i dont know at this point if id want to have him even take murphys place.

murphy seems comfortable out there, but if he were to come i rather have him as a 2nd string or 3rd string big man.

jim buss, your doing it wrong
