Was the actual 6 minute plus original version of "California Love" ever officially released? I kinda wonder why compilations either use the "short radio version" or the "long radio version". Anyways, anybody know if it's out there, and what album its on?

And also, anybody wanna send it if they have it?

Anyone else only open this in hopes that the Ice Cube/Dr. Dre or the 3 Dre verse version had finally leaked?

Their was 3 versions

the original single,
The extended remix with the different beat
then another with the original beat but extended, and features teh same vocals at the end like the remix.

Then you had the original Dr. Dre version (3 verses of him only, this was his song, hence why he's rapping first)

The longer version of the original beat with the continued Roger Troutman adlibs at the end is on the All Eyez on Me demo. It was never officially released from what I remember, unless it was on one of the numerous Death Row compilations of the same songs over and over again that came out within the past five years or so.

I had that Version with the Joe Cocker Sample.It was Released on the How do you want it Single if i remeber correctly....

No, that's still not the full length version. The How Do U Want It single (with just two songs) had the short radio edit, while the maxi-single (with those two songs and 2 of Amerikaz Most Wanted and Hit 'Em Up) had the long radio edit, but not the full length version that has the same adlibs at the end from the Remixed version on the actual album.
