It's been far too long since we had some new Cool Nutz material on Dubcnn. Back in 2007 we had Cool Nutz and Luni Coleone on Dubcnn for this Exclusive Interview to discuss their first collaborative effort, "Every Single Day," which featured the single That Doe featuring and produced by Bosko.

Since then the Portland MC - whose career spans more than 2 decades over 9 solo albums - has featured on countless releases and his long awaited 10th solo album, "The Cook Up," dropped back in August via his Jus Family Records.


Today he is making "The Cook Up" available to fans for free download right here on Dubcnn!

Despite remaining active within the larger community, "The Cook Up" was a comeback album, of sorts, for Cool Nutz, who had taken some time off from the studio when his son was born. "I wanted to let fans and my peers know that my oven was still hot and my chef skills were meaner than ever, I'm still in the kitchen, cooking up good music," says Cool Nutz.

With "The Cook Up" he kept his collaborations close to home, working with familiar names such as Illmaculate, Bosko, Mikey Vegaz, Maniac Lok, and Potluck with production from the likes of DJ Quik, Bosko, HI-Q and Trox to name a few.
