What's happening in Iceland? No news is very good news

I will do some more research and get back to you but I think this is not the black and white appearance it seems to have on the surface.

Iceland has not be self-sufficent in the past, nor will it be in the future.....what does the country create or sell?  They are a European school project. I've already got an ice maker in my kitchen, so there goes their best product;)

I don't pretend to know all of the intricacies, I don't personally know the players involved.

All I know are the stated facts that I've read so far, and I feel like it is a good progression and ultimately goes against what I see as the establishments agenda.
