I won't speak for them but I don't think they're trying to put down NWA, it's the fact that it's the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame. That's like the Rolling Stones being in the Hip Hop Hall of Fame.

I've never paid attention to the Rock and Roll HOF. If that's the case then sure I just don't know why they're putting other genres in.
