Eto'o on Paris Saint-Germain radar
« on: May 20, 2012, 06:08:33 AM »
Paris Saint-Germain are looking to acquire the services of 31-year-old Anzhi Makhachkala striker Samuel Eto'o, according to a report in L'Equipe.

The Cameroon international opted for a move to Russia last year, with former side Inter receiving the sum of €27 million (£21m) from the Eastern European outfit as compensation for his services.

PSG have been linked with moves for Real Madrid's Gonzalo Higuain, Liverpool's Luiz Suarez and AC Milan's Alexandre Pato as their Qatari owners look to elevate the side to the summit of club football.

It is believed that the French capital outfit have added the name of Eto'o to the list and are prepared to sacrifice strengthening other areas of the team in order to come up with a tempting financial offer.

The African has never complained about the fact that he is currently playing in a less-glamorous championship, but is reportedly not against the idea of representing a more prestigious club.

Eto'o has won a long list of honours during his career, including three Champions League trophies, a Club World Cup, a Scudetto and three La Liga titles.

eto'o already has a house in Paris, has expressed in the past his desire to finish his career in France, whether Paris, Marseille or Montpellier lol, and now that Paris is a competitive outfit with European ambitions, I think it could happen, especially since the Qatari owners are shelling out unlimited funds pretty much. I hope it doesn't happen though, Eto'o is one of my favorite forwards.

even if the Ligue 1 is horrible, Psg is better than Anzhi.
