Congrats to Santana for the no-hitter, the first in Mets history. Which is kinda odd considering that they had Tom Seaver, Dwight Gooden and Nolan Ryan during the 50 years they've existed.

It was a bit costly (two injured players), but a great feat to to say the least.
Especially because of a career high 134 pitches thrown with the surgically-repaired shoulder.

Yeah, no hitters are a funny thing. In the Mariners history one is Randy Johnson (which most people would expect) then mediocre Chris Bosio lol. Definitely have to fall under the right set of circumstances.
