Corporations and more sponsors came once the culture grew and so they started to just massproduce to make a buck and all that. Happens all the time. I mean just think back then Interscope was almost finished until Death Row came out and think how large and how much power Interscope holds in the industry now. Labels are just investors who want a return on their investment so it speaks for itself.

Ask yourself this and keep it 100, if you invested say a few millions on a project wouldn't you wanna make at least 2 milli back so you could make a return on your investment plus making a extra million? So would you do that investing in some rapper ala Immortal Technique or would you invest in whatever it is that's selling right now? It's like asking would you invest in some real-estate in the worst neighborhood in the world if you wanted to make a buck?

Not saying i agree with the way but sometimes i honestly understand. Doesn't mean that i listen to the bs out.
