If this actually happens, then my faith in Aftermath Entertainment might be restored. The homie Kendrick Lamar stopped by Power 106 today to announce the official release date for his highly anticipated major label debut "Good Kid In A Mad City". The date is October 2nd, which means that in a little more than 3 months, Kendrick might be the first new artist since Game in 2005 to come out up under Dr. Dre's Aftermath Entertainment.

Expect the video to "The Recipe" to drop very soon and catch K. Dot performing at Power 106's summer jam today (live stream: http://livestre.am/1atmr).

This would be a great project.  Can't wait.  With Nas album and Kendrick Lamar album I know I'm going to have some good new hip-hop music before the year is over
