Jeremy Lin Agrees to 4-Year, $28.8 Million Deal from Rockets; Knicks Expected to Match Offer

Remember when "Linsanity" swept through New York and led to immediate creation of Jeremy Lin jerseys and tons of other memorabilia? Well, that may soon be a thing of a past. Lin has agreed to the offer sheet from the Houston Rockets worth $28.8 million over 4 years. According to Adrian Wojnarowski of Yahoo! Sports, the deal is heavily back-loaded with Lin set to earn "$5M in year one, $5.2M in year two and $9.3M in years three and four."

Now, the Knicks will need to figure out whether or not they want to match the offer or let the 23-year-old point guard go to Houston. With a new-look backcourt already in place after the signing of Jason Kidd, did New York's decision just get easier or harder? Guess that's for management to decide.
If you get in a fight, and somebody yells “worldstar”. You better fight for your life.

Knicks should match the offer but Houston really could use him
