1. I I'm not saying they "went behind his back" and tried to blackmail him. I'm saying what PROBABLY happened is the guys who made the beats that Dre "mixed" suddenly said Produced by Dr. Dre and they probably said 'look man you need to change that to Produced by Dr. Dre AND [insert name here]" and when Dre refused they probably kindly reminded him that their shit was copyrighted unlike Daz's and Sam Sneed's and Lawlay's and everyone else. So what was he going to do other than tell them 'fuck it, keep your shit'?
Dr. Dre's business is going to be protected. You think Dre is going to spend all this time developing and producing some song based off an up-and-coming producer's beat and not actually LEGALLY OWN the fucking beat? Now, you are saying you think PROBABLY happened with the whole team of guys? Sorry but it wouldn't. These guys aren't producers with names of their owns that can go shop these beats to whoever and get the same money for it. If you're selling your beats to producers at that high a level, you know you're the beat-maker, you whining about credit on some beat that Dr. Dre just spent his time fine-tuning is going to dead your career before it even starts. Again, from the tone of your commentary, I'm vibing that you're one of these folks who thinks Dr. Dre is just a mixer so you're likely to believe whatever craziness you hear around the campfire but trust me, that scenerio would never fucking happen. If after all that time spent on Ruthless and Death Row didn't wise Dre up enough to where he let some "ghost producer" fuck him out of Detox then I'd question how he ever got where he did.

2. Your Khalil/Dre situation is more than likely true. But its fucked up for Dre. Every time Khalil makes a great joint (ie: Ricky / Talkin 2 Myself) he gets praised for being so amazing and even as better than Dre. But when the beat sucks or is average (ie: Kush / Drug test) then Dre still gets the blame. Lose lose for Dre in that relationship.
I don't think he gets praised as being "better than Dre" by anyone with any real understanding of music production. Yes, folks on a fucking website think Khalil is "better" because they like his current beats more than the ones Dre is putting out at the moment. The same people who are stuck on that "Dre don't produce" deal are going to throw that blame out anyway. If he makes the hottest shit in the world, they'll just say he stole it. If he hands off the credit to someone else who helped work on it with him, he can't PRODUCE anymore. It was "lose lose" anyway.
