How was the Montero trade a lose lose? He's only 22 and hitting around .260 in the most inconsistent lineup in baseball. And this was also a good move for us, it was time to move on.

I mean, the guy is going to be 39 this October. He's hitting just over .250; it's not like it was a steal for us. Is a very nice improvement defensively & the closest thing we have to Gardner on the basepaths.
I mean at this point in his career it basically just is Brett Gardner's replacement since he's out for the year.
I mean although it was slim, there were rumors of Cashman trying to pull the move on Justin Upton, I hope getting Ichiro didn't kill that all together because Upton would be the real move.
Even though getting more hitting is a joke; gotta go get some arms. Unless the Yankees are really tryna average scoring ten runs a game lol.
