Studio Says Snoop Cant Cut It .....

When we first heard that Snoop Dogg was up for the role of Huggy Bear in the remake of the classic 70s series "Starsky and Hutch" we were delighted for him, but apparently the studio suits were not, according to World Entertainment News Network. Snoop, aka Calvin Broadus, was hoping this would be his avenue to bigger movie parts. But Snoop. Warner Bros. top dogs are not convinced that he has what it takes to be a major player.

Snoop says, "The director and the writer want me to play Huggy Bear, but the studio don't believe I'm strong enough to do it. It's just a matter of proving myself."

In fact, Mr. Snoop thinks so much of his thespian chops, he's ready to take on a couple of entertainment icons.

"I'd like to do the Miles Davis story and the Bob Marley story - deep roles where I can really show my skills." (Whoa Dogg! Somebody grab that leash! Miles and Bob? We thought he gave up mind altering substances)

man if they take snoop outta this movie, it will be a big mistake, snoop can do about anything, i think snoop and stiller would make a great combo

That's one stupid ass decision to take Snoop out of the movie. The concept of a 70's TV show might not be very familiar to the younger generation, so they should have people like Snoop in the movie who would attract more people.

Snoop playing Bob Marley? Oh HELL NO! That shit wouldn't work! I mean - c'mon!!!

LOL snoops actin is weak, but hey it would have been dope to have snoop in the film, but oh well, he might as well get workin on sum other shit then..........like the FUCKIN 213 joint
