let me rephrase that. as long as the lakers have shaq n kobe. im not a lakers fan. but if shaq n kobe are in for the playoffs no matter what the lakers are seeded, they will go far.

they have Shaq and Kobe now, and their struggling to even make a playoff spot. Shaq and Kobe are good no doubt, but if they dont step their game up...they won win. Things change year to year, they have to learn to adjust. The things that worked last year, wont necessarily work this year. Other teams have gotten better, the Lakers IMO, stayed the same. U know? Kobe bulked up a bit, but can u name ONE other player on the team who has improved their game from last year...to this year? I aint just tryin to talk shit about em, its well known i dont like em. But im just bein honest about this year. Actually, id RATHER they were good again this year. It makes for a better challenge. I aint comparing them to the bulls in the LEAST, but....its like back when Jordan and Pippen were playing, i never wanted the Spurs to face them...if Jordan was out or whatever. Cus id rather see if they can beat them at full strength. So id rather see the Lakers playin good right now, for that reason. But they arent, im more worried about Sacramento and Dallas.

lakers got off to a bad start coz shaq was out. right now theyre playing like they were last year, just with a worse start

^yeah shaqb being not 100% and him being missing for the begining of the year affected them alot , afterall shaq is the Sun in that team , everything revolves around him.
also most of the team was/is hurt/old
kobe barely became 100% within the past 2 weeks, shaq's not 100% yet, fox is old, horry has knee probs, samaki walker is coming off an injury, fisher has bad feet, brian shaw is old, kareem rush is rookie, stanaslav medvadenko lamadamadingdong (lol) has joint stiffness AND he's being forced to play out of role
how can you win with that? that shit looks similar to or as bad as the average NFL team injury report lol
anyways i ain't worried when the playoffs come we'll come together
plus this is similar to what happened to the lakers not to long ago when shaq had stomach muscle probs
member when the lakers won 61 games with shaq van exel, jones, and kobe? shaq was almost mvp behind jordan/malone lakers were coined "team of the future" then shaq pulls stomach muscle and then the next year they fare well then the next do HORRIBLE (sound familiar) then shaq gets it fixed and boooom hey hey hey we're back. so as soon as shaq is 100% again or at least 90 we'll be good again

u cant be serious. Theyre playing ok right now, but not Championship form. Yah the bad start hurt them, and compared to their start, they playin WAY better. BUT, they still aint playin like a Championship team it all. If u didnt KNOW that they won last year, and just turned on the TV to watch them...you would think they were a team that didnt even make the playoffs last year. They might pick it up by the end of the season, who knows.

shooting 46% isnt bad. it just looks bad cuz he was shooting so damn better
