that was cool...sounded sarcastic and subliminal when mentioning pharrel, which got me thinking bout that shot on the end? wonder where that stems from...

I think it was just a shout out to Pharrell's artist Buddy who is from Compton. It sounded like Buddy might have even been there with Quik, but wasn't shown on camera.
