How d'you best define G-funk?

No-one has ever summed it up like that. I was listening to that album a lot this week, and almost got a lil' misty-eyed how that sound just isn't around any more. Right now I'm listening to Domino's first album from 93 (Getto Jam is bumping as I type), and... damn. When you go back even eight or so years you realise that things just aren't the same nowadays. Opinions?

I know what you mean, but G-Funk goes further then Warren G & Hes G-Funk Clicc (5Footaz, Dove Shack, Foesum, Twinz...). G-Funk is a level in music, the Westcoast lost that, it was their best weapon, thats why the East is on top now.. But I have lots of albums with GFunk you probally never heard about & thats what keeps me down with the West.
