you could say that about so many songs,  to me, the lyrics are good, the music just sucked to me...

I don't wanna offend anybody, but most of yall are pretty shallow in your musical tastes.  When you get older you'll probably expand out a little more.  Rap & Hiphop is great, and I love it, but anybody that expects hiphop to win awards over slow jazzy love songs is out of their mind.  Yall think she isn't talented, but honestly you wouldn't know talent if it bit you on the ass.  She's the daughter of Ravi Shankar, one of the greatest eastern musicans to ever live... but yall wouldn't know about that because it ain't in 4/4.  She was singing choir at 5; majored in jazz piano, and she DOES write her own songs, just not that one... she's intelligent enough to let other songwriters contribute.  

What album was better?  Out of the ones nominated, nobody was even close.  Bruce Springsteen? Please... that's the most tired crap out.  Yall have only heard 1 song because there's only been 1 single.  The whole album pretty much was great, but if you don't like slow stuff (mind blowing that you wouldn't) then you wouldn't like any of it.  Plus, she's only 22.  Peace~
