Overfiend my man, you have clearly selectively chosen what you choose to be satanism, because I can cite you passages in Crowley's books in which he speaks upon the virtues of sacrificing children, pecking Jesus's eyes out, blinding Allah etc. It turns my stomach to believe that anyone would be a "fan" of such books. Even the satantic church recognised that Crowley was so brazen in his despicable inhuman ways that they distance themselves from him anyway...I digress. What people fail to recognise about these attacks on muslim countries is that they are targeting countries like Syria which is NOT under Islamic law, same too for Iraq, in the latter country, Saddam even allowed for people to own semi auto's (yes semi auto's) one of the best health services in the world. likewise Gaddafi may have had an evil side to him but he, like the previous ones are the moderates, these islamic fighters pouring in are the REAL ENEMY, not only against muslims but they are a greater threat than anything else and CONSIDER the fact thase scum have been given all sorts of heavy weaponry. With their extremist, hateful, murderous tendencies, they have given them the means of weaking havoc against western targets and then you will have a real reason to hate.
It's ironic though, we talk about islamic fundamentalism, but they are only one cog in the fundamentalist agenda, the real fundamentalists are the neo global feudal players who are emboldening and strengthening a real enemy in order to further their sick game. As for muslims being hypocritical, sure, of course they are, we all hypocrites, and I don't for one moment approve of some of the horrific things which muslims are subjected to in their home lands and consider it backwards, then again, they probably consider that our mindless tv addicted ways are equally backwards and the harm will do upon ourselves with heavy drinking, drugs, casual sex, exposure to depraved music, our intake of foods contaiminated with all sorts of chemicals and preservatives, eating an animal who whilst alive had been cannibalised too

Perhaps your idea of 'Satanism' is different. I myself am not specifically a 'Satanist', although my concept of it is not limited to the Christian-Judeo-centric view. I just read different books about different faiths and can dig some aspects of each one.

Lol I'd say it's you who doesn't understand satanism. The motto of satanism is "Do as thou wilt". Meaning do whatever you please, regardless of the consequences and who it effects. I suggest reading some Aleister Crowley (aka The Beast aka the wickedest man alive) / Anton LaVey / Albert Pike.
And FYI, satanism is the intended antithesis of christiantity, so you can't separate the 2. Im not a christian (nor slave to any religion) but I def understand where it is coming from. Satanism is the more modern version of luciferianism (although the extremely high elitists today are luciferian, as their thousands year old bloodline leads them back to the polytheism days).
There is absolutely nothing cool about satanism, unless you're a liar / thief / murderer / overall piece of shit. There are lots of those people in the world today unfortunately.

I figure The Church of Satan is a parody of Christianity because from what I've read it's all about relying on ones self and not some magical figure to do everything for you.

It's not a parody my friend, but I think I get what you're saying...it certainly mocks Christianity and nature though. They absolutely believe in a magical figure themselves, which is Satan.
